The CIMWI Facility

Channel Islands Marine and Wildlife Institute is located at the former Vista Del Mar School campus, on Highway 101 at the Mariposa Reina exit, just south of the Gaviota pass. The grounds will have outdoor pools and enclosures, while the indoor facilities will accommodate a hospital, pharmacy, laboratory, treatment rooms, administrative offices and presentation/education space. Its combination of classrooms, support buildings and open areas provide ample space for a first-class marine and wildlife treatment and rehabilitation center.

With your assistance, the Institute will meet its goal of raising $100,000 to secure critical equipment and initiate the first phase of facility renovations. These include building animal holding pens, establishing treatment and operating rooms and purchasing medication and supplies.
