CIMWI Partners

CIMWI is a member of the Marine Mammal Health and Stranding Response Network, administered by the National Marine Fisheries Service. It is also a member of the California Department of Fish and Game's Oiled Wildlife Care Network, which strives to maintain a constant state of readiness for oil spill response and to ensure wildlife exposed to petroleum products have access to permanent wildlife rehabilitation facilities.

Channel Islands Marine and Wildlife Institute is also committed to cooperating and collaborating with other agencies, organizations, universities and researchers regarding rescue, treatment, rehabilitation, care and management of marine and terrestrial wildlife.  This will occur through the ongoing participation in regional, state, national and international organizations, meetings, conferences and seminars as well as working cooperatively during crisis situations.
